FIRST QUARTERLY REPORT DECEMBER 1, 1965 - MARCH 1, 1966,

Abstract

Progress in the use of a modulated molecular beam apparatus in conjunction with a mass spectrometer to study the kinetics of reactions between gases and refractory structural materials is summarized. Some additions to the existing detection apparatus is noted, as are some preliminary results from flash filament experiments, which are in addition to studies of tungsten oxidation by a modulated beam of oxygen.
