SOLID STATE PHYSICS AT SOME UNIVERSITIES IN SOUTHERN GERMANY.

Abstract

This report covers a three-week trip to five German universities and Technische Hochschulen (Frankfurt, Erlangen, Darmstadt, Karlsruhe, and Stuttgart). After describing some impressions about the general situation in these universities, the present work in their solid-state departments is reported. (Author)
