PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS IN THE FABRICATION OF H-FILM (KAPTON) FLEXIBLE CIRCUITS

Abstract

This paper describes the major problem areas encountered in the fabrication of Kapton flexible harnesses. Although not all of these problems have been solved, it is certain that all the areas of concern in the development of advanced flexible harnesses have been identified. Since it is easily predictable that the use of flex harnesses will increase in the near future, it is equally simple to understand the urgency with which the entire field must be handled.
