AN ANALYSIS OF A TRANSISTORIZED AIRCRAFT VOLTAGE REGULATOR

Abstract

Since the advent of power electrical machinery, the problem of improved voltage regulation has always been a dominant factor. Recently, a new aircraft voltage regulator was designed using transistorized components. This regulator was considered to be non-linear degenerative feedback unit. Using the well defined procedures of servo analysis, dynamic and frequency response tests were taken of the regulator and the regulator-generator system. These tests were evaluated with a view toward developing a regulator describing function and a system function.
