FLEXIBLE INTEGRATED SOLAR CELL ARRAY.

Abstract

The activity described in this report consists of development of an array wrapping technique which utilizes the force in the compressed foam layers to protect the solar cells from vibration; sunlight tests and thermal shock tests on small array segments which show close agreement between calculated and measured performance and thermal shock capability down to -250 F; calibration procedure on a dendritic secondary standard; and the dynamic analysis of the demonstration model under the vibration test conditions.
