STUDY PLAN FOR THE CONCEPTS EVALUATION AND MATERIEL REQUIREMENTS DIVIDION OF THE US ARMY COMBAT SERVICE SUPPORT GROUP: A COMPUTER-ASSISTED SIMULATION OF SUPPLY AND RELATED LOGISTIC SYSTEMS FOR A THEATER OF COMBAT.

Abstract

This paper discusses three alternative approaches to the problems of design and development of a computer-assisted simulation for supply and related logistic systems within a combat theater. The objective of the simulation is to test and evaluate logistic concepts as well as to identify and suggest means of correcting deficiencies within proposed concepts. The scope, detail, and level of effort for each approach are discussed. (Author)
