INTEGRATED ENGINEERING - SERVICE TEST OF ARMORED RECONNAISSANCE/AIRBORNE ASSAULT VEHICLE, XM551 (SHERIDAN/SHILLELAGH) (AUTOMOTIVE PHASE).

Abstract

This portion of the automotive phase of the integrated engineering - service test of the Armored Reconnaissance/Airborne Assault Vehicle, XM551 (Sheridan/Shillelagh), was conducted at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland (APG) and Fort Knox, Kentucky during the period 3 September 1964 to 5 January 1966. Pilot vehicles were used during engineering performance, durability, and cold room tests.
