EXPERIMENTAL VERIFICATION OF THEORY OF DAMPING OF A SIMPLE STRUCTURE BY DISTRIBUTED TUNED DAMPERS.

Abstract

An experimental investigation of the damping introduced into a simple cantilever beam by a distribution of tuned viscoelastic dampers is described. Comparisons of theory and experiment are made and agreement is good. (Author)
