WIDE BAND CRYOGENIC PARAMETRIC AMPLIFIER.
Abstract
The results of tests made on breadboard models of single ended and balanced parametric amplifiers are discussed. The balanced amplifier showed superior performance and could be tuned over the band from 5-8 Gc solely by varying pump frequency. The four-terminal conditions that must be satisfied for octave-wide, voltage tunable parametric upconverters are discussed. (Author)
