INVESTIGATION FOR 2000 F POWER WIRE.

Abstract

This report discusses various methods attempted to coat rhodium wire with flexible high temperature dielectric films. Thermal decomposition of a triple oxide coating was successful, and design parameters will be determined. Bulk insulation materials were evaluated and a ceramic fiber was selected. Outer sheath and electrical terminal investigations were completed. Several different fabrication procedures for the wire system were investigated and a final method chosen.
