APPLICATION OF A POWDER LUBRICATION SYSTEM TO A GAS TURBINE ENGINE.

Abstract

The objective of this program is to provide a powder lubrication system for the J-69 turbine engine. This report discusses the tests made on the engine ball and roller bearings using a powder lubricant consisting of graphite and cadmium oxide in lieu of conventional lubricant. (Author)
