A STUDY OF MICROELECTRONIC CIRCUIT PARAMETERS FOR NON-DIGITAL APPLICATIONS.
Abstract
Microelectronics is introduced with definitions for some of the more controversial terms encountered in this new field. Thin-film resistive elements are examined from the distributed parameter point of view and impedance functions for use in microcircuit analysis are derived. A source of parasitic capacitance found in silicon integrated transistors is introduced by way of a sample calculation. A small signal analysis for a simple linear amplifier stage is presented using microcircuit concepts along with transistor circuit theory.
