STUDY AND INVESTIGATION OF MILLIMETER AND SUBMILLIMETER WAVE RECEIVER TECHNIQUES.

Abstract

This program has as its goal the development of video and superheterodyne detection techniques which are appropriate for the millimeter and submillimeter range of the spectrum. A theoretical analysis of a loop detector tunnel diode mounted in a ground plane is presented. The resistive component of the load impedance is calculated. Current problems in the fabrication of the tunnel diodes are discussed. (Author)
