THE ROLE OF STANDARDS, CODES AND SPECIFICATIONS IN A MODERN NAVY

Abstract

The purposes of this thesis are to make a compilation of information about standardization, which will spread the knowledge of standardization in the Chilean Navy, further the study of its principles and its techniques of application toward the establishment of a standardization program for the Chilean Navy; and if possible, establish a single standardization program for all the Chilean Armed Forces.
