AIRBORNE OMEGA RECEIVER.

Abstract

Techniques for the Omega navigation system are being developed to permit its use in aircraft. Omega utilizes a hyperbolic grid of isophase lines established by VLF transmitters. It is characterized by very long range capability and potentially high accuracy. This report is concerned with progress on the airborne receiver.
