AIRBORNE OMEGA RECEIVER.

Abstract

Techniques for the Omega navigation system are being developed to permit its use in aircraft. Omega utilizes a hyperbolic grid of isophase lines established by VLF transmitters. It is characterized by very long range capability and potentially high accuracy. This fifth interim report is concerned with an analysis of the phase servo system used in the airborne receiver.
