CONTINENTAL TS120 TURBOSHAFT ENGINE. POWER CONTROL SYSTEM. SUPPLEMENT

Abstract

This report presents the design of the power control system for a basic single-spool turboshaft engine and the variations possible with this basic design. These variations cover engines with outputs of 60, 90, and 120 horsepower, recuperated and non-recuperated versions, along with direct drive and geared output speeds. Included are schematic diagrams, description of the fuel control scheduling and governing methods, estimated engine fuel schedules, and a brief discussion of those changes which have been made to the power control system since the submission of the main engine design report.
