CONFIRMATORY TEST (TYPE I) OF RECOVERY VEHICLE, FULL-TRACKED: LIGHT, ARMORED, M578.
Abstract
This report covers confirmatory test (Type I) of Code B Recovery Vehicle, Full Tracked: Light, Armored, M578. The USAARENBD was responsible for test plan preparation, test execution, and preparation of the report of test. The purpose of the test was to verify that deficiencies reported in previous tests have been corrected in Code B vehicles and to determine suitability of vehicle for issue for Army use. The test was conducted at Fort Knox, Kentucky from 20 September 1965 to 22 March 1966 on M578 vehicle, serial no. 12FJ20.
