MATHEMATICAL MODELS OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS

Abstract

The primary objective of this effort is the study and development of mathematical models of information processing systems. The general area of research includes machine design, automata theory, and the application of mathematical models to problems in machine design. The areas of research in this report are divided into these four areas (1) automata theory and applications: (2) Theory of Algorithms; (3) System Analysis, and (4) Combinatorics and Switching Theory.
