WEAPON SYSTEM MASTER INDEX, BASIC DATA MONOGRAPH, WS 107C. PART I: DESCRIPTION OF BASIC DATA POOL.

Abstract

The Basic Data Monograph is a two-part volume that technically describes the Titan II LGM-25C Basic Data Pool. Part I presents analytical concepts that have resulted in the development of a set of integrated standards applicable to the Titan II Weapon System. Documentation of the standards is then explained with particular emphasis placed on the necessity for, and application of, each type of document. Finally, the interrelationships of the various analytical techniques and the resulting documented decisions are presented. Part II describes the use and maintenance of the Basic Data Pool and directly related products. Techniques are presented for applying the standards data to evaluate weapon system performance and to accomplish effective management decisions pertinent to potential changes in policy, equipment design, technical manuals, and spares support. Methods are then described for updating the standards as valid changes are approved so that the Data Pool continously represents the latest performance capabilities and requirements. (Author)
