CESIUM BEAM TUBE RESEARCH.
Abstract
The assembly and processing of the demountable beam tube test chamber was completed. Measurements and calculations were then made on a quadrupole beam optics system to determine several important characteristics of this system. These measurements demonstrated the great utility of the demountable beam tube. Parts for a microwave test cavity were completed and a number of measurements were performed, which helped clarify the understanding of the coaxial cavity design problems. (Author)
