94-GC MEASUREMENTS OF MICROWAVE ABSORBING MATERIAL.

Abstract

This report describes the results of a study conducted to determine the 94-gc reflection characteristics of commercially available anechoic chamber absorbing materials. Absorbers were supplied by contractors. Materials included the following types: horse-hair, pyramidal, dentated, and floor material. In general, all the materials tested were found to be satisfactory for 94-gc operation. The complex dielectric constants of the flat, smooth materials are also derived from the parallel polarization reflection coefficient measurements.
