SYSTEMS OPTIMIZATION PROCESS,

Abstract

A method is described for determining the optimum geometric parameters for a missile to attain a desired performance. The approximate vicinity of the solution is found. Parametric values in this vicinity; the function describing the missile performance; and the partial derivatives of the function are inserted into the program. From this information, the minimum parameters are then obtained. (Author)
