BULK EFFECT OSCILLATORS FOR FREQUENCY CONTROL.

Abstract

This report describes the initial phases of the investigation of an electromechanical semiconductor oscillator using the electrostriction and elastoresistance phenomena. The first section describes some introductory background investigations relevant to the geometry and construction of an oscillator operating in the high frequency band. The second section is concerned with the design of measurement equipment required for the determination of the electrostriction constant. (Author)
