SIGNAL PROCESSING FOR THE ALOUETTE SATELLITES,

Abstract

Signals from the Alouette 1 and Alouette 2 satellites are received at some 14 ground stations. Each station processes the signals and records the results on magnetic tape. The magnetic tapes are replayed through data processing equipment to produce ionograms on film, strip chart recordings, and magnetic tape copies. This report describes the equipment used to do this.
