EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF AN INDUCTION COMPRESSOR.

Abstract

Experimental investigation of the induction compressor has shown that the mathematical analysis presented earlier leads to correct prediction of the forces on a conductor. The peristaltic operation assumed in the theory is not achieved because of simple hydrodynamic principles, which are discussed. (Author)
