VERTICAL MOTION OF HIGH ALTITUDE BALLOONS

Abstract

The analysis and the computer program have been extended and improved. The mathematical formulation of the model is presented. The computer program is described in great detail. Some computed and actual flights were correlated. The results from the ADL-NCAR flight have increased the confidence in the validity and accuracy of the computer model.
