SUBMILLIMETER WAVES AND ASTROPHYSICS AT QUEEN MARY COLLEGE.

Abstract

A large part of the experimental physics program at Queen Mary College is concerned with the infrared properties of solids and astronomy. Infrared techniques have been significantly advanced at Queen Mary College and extended to millimeter wavelengths. Millimeter and submillimeter wave studies of the sun, the moon, and the earth's atmosphere are described. (Author)
