PREDICTING MOTIVATION TO COMPLETE OCS WITH INTEREST INVENTORIES.
Abstract
The present study is concerned with (1) whether interest items can predict motivatonal failure in the Army OCSs, and, if so (2) what kind of items are the best predictors, and (3) how should the items be scored to improve predictions. It is concluded that interest tests of the kind described in this study might be useful additions to the present OCS selection system.
