RAT SCAT CROSS SECTION MEASUREMENTS OF THE 006-10 ROADRUNNER TARGET MISSILE.

Abstract

This report presents the radar cross section data taken on the Roadrunner target missile. Monostatic radar cross section data were taken on this vehicle at operating frequencies of 2500 and 10125 MHz, and bistatic measurements were taken at 10125 MHz. The measurements at 2500 MHz were taken with horizontal antenna polarization while the 10125 MHz measurements were taken with vertical antenna polarization. Bistatic measurement angles ranged from 10 to 75 degrees. During this program a total of ninety-four radar cross section measurements of the vehicle were taken. A general description of the RAT SCAT Site and operational procedures is included. Specific test conditions and results are given, including the reproduced rectilinear plots and the Data Plot Index.
