GRAVITY GRADIENT TORQUES FOR A STELLAR ORIENTED VEHICLE,
Abstract
The expressions for the gravity gradient torques acting on a vehicle with a stellar (inertial) orientation are derived. The results are used to determine the impulse requirements necessary to counteract these torques for a typical MOL vehicle with a chosen stellar attitude reference. (Author)
