RADIATION EFFECTS ON DIELECTRIC MATERIALS.

Abstract

Theoretical and experimental studies are being made to determine the effects of gamma and neutron irradiation on dielectric materials. The improvements in the theoretical study of radiation-induced conductivity processes in insulators are discussed. The ion-plating facility and the technique to be used for providing metal contacts on dielectric materials are described. (Author)
