THRESHOLD ELEMENTS AND THE DESIGN OF SEQUENTIAL SWITCHING NETWORKS.

Abstract

The major topics treated are: (1) realization of switching functions by means of novel logic gates called multi-threshold threshold elements; (2) circuit means for realizing multi-threshold threshold elements; (3) considerations in the circuit design of threshold elements; (4) synthesis of switching networks by means of elements each of which is itself a network and (5) synthesis of sequential machines by means of shift registers.
