INVESTIGATION OF THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF ROCKET COMBUSTION PRODUCTS.

Abstract

Experimental studies on the thermodynamic properties of beryllium containing vapor species of interest are presented. Final values of heats of formation and bond energies are given when the data so warrant. Preliminary work on development of a beam modulation system for the mass spectrometer is described. This system will be used to improve signal to noise ratio, and to obtain information about the neutral precursor of a given ion species. It will be used in studies on those systems, above, where the procurement of satisfactory data has not been possible.
