INVESTIGATION OF A 30,000 RPM TURBINE-DRIVEN HYDRAULIC PUMP.

Abstract

Vane tip tests have been successfully completed and are summarized. Through kinematic analysis of the bridge concept, the magnitude of forces necessary to ensure vane to cam-ring tracking in the bridge area have been established. A deformable cam-ring has been conceived which would eliminate the need for these forces.
