DEVELOPMENT OF EXPERIMENTAL TESTING PROGRAMS TO VERIFY THERMAL STRESS ANALYSIS.

Abstract

This report contains a bibliographical list for test data on thermal stress testing, and evaluation of the reports in the list in a set of tables, and a list of proposed experimental tests to verify certain theoretical method of thermal stress analysis. Six of the proposed test programs, beam test fixture with circular plate test, plate bending test fixture redundant truss test, curved beam test, and a joint test with mixed materials, are described in detail.
