THE DIGITAL DEMODULATION OF A FREQUENCY MODULATED SIGNAL.

Abstract

Digital frequency demodulation offers itself as an intriguing means of the rule to digitize data as far up front as possible in order to eliminate analog circuitry. Based on a few interesting experiments on the subject is treated more thoroughly. Parameters and accuracies are evaluated. A discussion of merits in comparison to the analog demodulation is presented with numerical examples. A special application is treated. (Author)
