EQUILIBRIUM PROPERTIES OF ARGON - AIR MIXTURES BEHIND INCIDENT AND REFLECTED SHOCK WAVES.

Abstract

Calculations were made of the gas composition, density ratio, pressure ratio, temperature ratio, and similar properties across the incident and reflected shock waves occurring in a shock tube. Thermodynamic equilibrium was assumed. The electrical conductivity of the shocked gas was calculated with species concentrations. Results are presented in graphical form. (Author)
