AUTOMATIC VOICE IDENTIFICATION EXPERIMENTS.

Abstract

A class of automatic voice identification techniques has been investigated to determine the performance attainable with these techniques as a function of spoken types of speech clues utilized, equipment complexity and type of voice identification being performed. Results of a large series of experiments utilizing a real-time experimental speech processing system to implement those techniques indicate that high quality automatic voice identification decisions can be rendered on fairly low quality speech signals.
