NONRECIPROCAL YIG MULTIPLEXER.

Abstract

General design considerations have been established for the construction of a four-channel, nonreciprocal multiplexer. Single channel models have been constructed and tested using stripline and waveguide techniques. Insertion loss appears to be the major problem in the construction of the multiplexer but the 3 db insertion loss specification should be met with the waveguide design. Better than 20 db nonreciprocity has been measured with both stripline and waveguide designs. (Author)
