COMPONENT EVALUATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE TC13 STEAM CATAPULT.

Abstract

Emphasis is placed on the calibration of the catapult after the installation of new steam accumulators and continued development testing of a modified rotary-retraction engine. Solutions to problems encountered with the new steam accumulators and associated equipment are also described. A brief discussion of tests of U. S. Army air-transportable fuel containers is presented. (Author)
