APPLICATION OF A POWDER LUBRICATION SYSTEM TO A GAS TURBINE ENGINE.

Abstract

The objective of this program is to provide a powder lubrication system for the J-69 turbine engine. This report discusses the testing of an unfired J-69 engine modified for powder lubrication. Also discussed are studies made of rear bearing heating in the J-69 engine with powder lubrication.
