STELLAR ACQUISITION FEASIBILITY FLIGHTS (STAFF).

Abstract

Analytic studies were begun to identify vidicon stellar sensor design interrelationships concerned with signal to noise ratio, field-of-view probability of detection, optical aperture and focal length as a function of dim star detectability and sky background capability. Stellar sensor outline and electrical configurations are being studied to define power and signal wiring interfaces.
