Abstract

This is a Project Michelson study report. The dominant themes discussed are: The Feudalistic Family; Liberation of Women; Liberation of Youth; Reactionary Figures; Revolutionary Figures; Antiindividualism; Education and Training; Invaders; and National Minorities. Emphasis on these themes is shown to be related to problems of social conflict, communication, and authority within the Chinese culture.
