STAGE 64: PREPROCESSOR PROGRAMMING SPECIFICATIONS MANUAL, VOLUME I: PREPARATION OF STAGER TAPE PHASE 1A AND PHASE 1B.

Abstract

This volume discusses Phase 1A and 1B of the Stage 64 Preprocessor Programming Specifications Manual, the preparation of STAGER tape. Phase 1A performs data checks on all raw data input to the Preprocessor. In addition, it forms library instances of such tables that do not exist from the resource data for such a table on the Instance Tape, after this data has been validity checked. Phase 1B processes the output from Phase 1A and generates STAGER tape. Phase 1B takes the updated resource tables from Phase 1A and from these derives other tables needed subsequently by the Preprocessor. The tables which will be needed by the Preprocessor are written on the output Library tape. Detailed descriptions of the processes and routines involved in these procedures are given. (Author)
