THE PENTAC TOO MODEL. VOLUME I -- OPERATOR'S MANUAL,
Abstract
The PENTAC model has been modified to increase its usefulness. The new model that has resulted is known as PENTAC TOO. The employment of the new model will be in the same field, to study the same types of problems, there have been sufficient alterations in the way it operates and in the way the user must prepare it for operation, that a complete new set of documentation is required. Volume I, Operator's Manual, is primarily oriented to the requirements of the user, presenting all information the user might need for successful operation of the model. PENTAC TOO provides a time-sequenced simulation of the significant actions of an airborne force conducting raids on a hostile territory opposed by fighter interceptor, surface-to-air missile, and AAA defenses. The PENTAC TOO model can best be categorized as 'static-geographic.'
