PENETRATION AIDS SIMULATION STUDY (PASS). VOLUME II - MODEL DESIGNS,

Abstract

The data and assumptions developed in a previous document are used in the conception and design of mathematical models for simulation and evaluation of the effects of penetration aids on the survivability of penetrating system elements as a function of the degradation to defense system effectiveness. The purpose of these models is to evaluate and analyze the effectiveness of penetration aids and to provide direct input data to other simulation models, such as PENTAC and STAMPEDE, used by the Directorate of Studies and Analysis, Headquarters, USAF. The results of this study indicate that the models contained in this volume can feasibly be constructed and will provide a reasonable degree of fidelity in their representation of pertinent real-life activities.
