NERVA COMPONENTS IRRADIATION PROGRAM. VOLUME 2: GTR TESTS 12 AND 12A.

Abstract

The test items in the eighth test, designated GTR-12, included control drum actuator components, accelerometers, pressure transducers, graphite specimens, a triaxial cable, and resistance temperature transducers (RTT's). The ninth test, GTR-12A, included the same RTT's, rescheduled as a result of problems encountered in the previous test, developmental strain gages, and 4-conductor shielded cables. The results of the tests are described briefly.
