NERVA COMPONENTS IRRADIATION PROGRAM VOLUME 4: GTR TEST 14,

Abstract

An experiment was performed utilizing the NARF Ground Test Reactor to determine the combined effects of reactor radiation and specified temperature environments on accelerometers, pressure transducers, resistance temperature transducers (RTT's), and thermocouples. The total irradiation was for 300 Mw-hrs. These components were of the type proposed for the NERVA engine.
