MECHANICAL PROPERTIES, INCLUDING FRACTURE TOUGHNESS AND FATIGUE, AND RESISTANCE TO STRESS-CORROSION CRACKING OF STRESS-RELIEVED STRETCHED ALUMINUM ALLOY EXTRUSIONS.

Abstract

The tensile and some compressive, shear and bearing properties of a total of 49 samples of 2014, 2024, 6061, 7075 and 7178 aluminum alloy extrusions in the TX51X temper have been determined and the ratios among these properties have been computed. (Author)
